Just uploaded the little surf film I shot around Lyall Bay and Houghton Bay in Wellington, New Zealand.

Shot entirely on super 8mm film, using a Canon 1014XL-S, a Beaulieu 7008 and a waterproof Eumig Nautica.

I’m pleased to say I’m now represented for tv commercial directing in the UK by BareAll, part of Bare Films.

The Devil’s Rock has been selected to play at the Yubari Fantastic Film Festival, Feb 2012 in Japan.   I’ll be attending and presenting the film – wild horses couldn’t keep me away from this festival – I went with Night of the Hell Hamsters and Eel Girl in 2009 and it’s one of the craziest genre festivals out there (see here for an idea of what goes on), helped by my love of all things Japanese, and the fact that there’s a snowboarding mountain 100m down the road.
