devil’s rock screening in Leicester square 30th August

The British Horror Film Festival are hosting a special screening of The Devil’s Rock at the Empire Cinema, Leicester Square, London on Tuesday 30th August at 9.15pm. I’ll be attending and presenting the film and doing a Q & A after the screening.

Tickets are £5 and can be booked online here. And just to whet your appetite here below is a new behind the scenes photo of the surgery scene, dubbed ‘the best bullet removal scene in the history of bullet removal scenes’.

Still catching up here on all the screenings from the past month.  Here are  few more pics from the CineGuernsey screening on July 29th:

NZ devil’s rock poster and a healthy bit of controversy

It’s always good to create a bit of discussion about your movie – devils rock NZ posterthe worst thing to happen to a your film is people watch it , thinks ‘meh’ – and have forgetten about it 10 minutes later.

Obviously every director wants their film to be universally enjoyed, but a good second best is to split the audience down the middle – a discussion about what people don’t like, or even hate is far healthier than no discussion at all.

In this case the poster for the New Zealand release has just gone on-line and it’s causing a bit of a stir over on the film’s Facebook page here, while Paul Finch has also has some thoughts on his blog here.
